Itinerary
Pick up from Indore airport and will go to visit kanch mandir and after that direct transfer to Sanchi, If time permits we will visit Sanchi in the evening during sunset. We will Visit Buddhist site of Sanchi and enjoy visit to this tranquil hilltop cluster of stupas, temples, pillars and abandoned monasteries dating back from third century BC to 12th century. After Sanchi Visit and Breakfast we will proceed to our lengthiest journey of the tour by the vehicle i.e. towards Gwalior It has yet emerged as a modern city vibrant and bustling. The magnificent monuments are well preserved giving the city a unique and timeless appeal. Post lunch enjoy a sojourn to glorious fortresses of Gwalior dating back to almost 1000 years. First on the city tour explore the most magnificent monument of the city, the Gwalior Fort. Dominating the city with its grandeur and splendor, the fort is known for its awe inspiring architecture and imposing structure. Overnight at Gwalior
The 3-hours drive to Orchha brings you to this medieval riverside city by lunchtime. The afternoon sightseeing will include its three palaces and embrace some of the numerous pavilions, lodges and temples that can be glimpsed in the nearby heavily wooded hills. Explore the stunning battlement walls and huge palace-fort on the banks of River Betwa and the chain of several connected palace structures. The fort is dotted with multitude of cenotaphs or chhatris and various impressive temples and tombs. Overnight at Orchha
Today, a 3-4hrs drive to the temples of Khajuraho will be followed by lunch. The temples provide an entertaining and instructive afternoon's viewing for all human life depicted here. The cultural and political capital of the Chandela Rajputs dynasty Khajuraho is renowned for its age old groups of temples which flourished between the 9th and the 13th centuries. Embracing couples, dancers, musicians and provocative maidens adorn these temples, which have been masterpieces of Indian Art. Overnight at Khajuraho
Enjoy sightseeing tour of the Khajuraho city by visiting the UNESCO applauded temples here. The temples of Khajuraho mainly known for their erotic sculptures are grouped into three geographical categories: western, eastern and southern groups of temples. These temples are also praiseworthy for their unique architecture which didn’t use mortar and the stones were put together with mortise and tenon joints and such formation is a subject of study even today. With an early depart to reach Bandhavgarh National Park and stay there in a forest lodge closest to the enthralling jungle panorama. Also experience exceptionally varied Birdlife from Malabar hornbills and paradise fly catchers to black vultures and crested serpent eagles. Have a full day of jungle activities and enter the woods for an exciting jungle safari. Accompanied by expert naturalists you will advance deep inside the jungle in a jeep. Situated at the foothills of the Vindhya ranges, Bandhavgarh National Park is the habitat of tiger, spotted deer, barking deer, sambar, chausingha, nilgai, guar, chinkara, wild boar, sloth bear, jackal, leopard, and a wide variety of bird life. Wildlife enthusiasts will surely have the time of their life here for the park constitutes of highest population of tigers in India. If you are granted permission by the Rewa's royal family, you can visit the fort. The wonderful carvings in the fort and the fabulous view from the top cannot be described, rather only experienced. Morning drive takes you to Jabalpur. The city itself dates from the nineteenth century and has a beautiful collection of marble rocks known as Bhedaghat which surrounds the holy River Narmada. Visit them in the afternoon to see the Dhuandhar waterfall or 'smoke cascade' where the Narmada plunges into a waterfall and stay on until nightfall when the snowy rocks are floodlit for a magical effect. After breakfast we will depart to Pachmarhi. On this day you arrive in Pachmarhi and check-in to the hotel. Enjoy Full day sightseen in Pachmarhi. Overnight at Pachmarhi.
After breakfast, you will start your day with the Gypsy safari to visit the places of tourist attractions in Pachmarhi. The valley, ravines and maze of gorges, sculpted in red sandstone by the wind and weather, add their own coloring to this palette of shades, and cascading waterfalls flash silver in the sunshine. Deep azure pools are hidden delights and everywhere wild life watchers will be rewarded by fascinating glimpses of the animal and bird kingdoms. You may opt to spend rest of the evening strolling through the streets of Pachmarhi and look around the town. Overnight stay at Pachmarhi.
After Breakfast depart to Bhopal... Get settled in your room at the hotel before you set off for a city sightseeing tour. Next on the scheme of things lies a city tour which will encompass all the famous sightseeing attractions. First begin the tour with a visit to the Upper Lake also known as “the Bhopal Beauty” is the largest artificial lake in Asia and where you can enjoy bracing on speedboats or go cruising; next visit Lower Lake. The sightseeing tour will further include visit to Laxmi Narayan Temple, Birla Museum, Kilol Park, Kamla Park, Moti Masjid, Sadar Manzil and Taj-ul-Masjid, Vidhan Sabha, Tagore Memorial and the National Archives of India. Overnight stay at Bhopal.
