The second day of your Golden triangle tour would be spent discovering Delhi which is the capital of India and all of its facets. Old Delhi and New Delhi are the two sections of the city. New Delhi is hip-hop, but Old Delhi has a more traditional feel. We'll start with a tour of Old Delhi's attractions. Chandni Chowk and its markets will be explored in the opening segment. These markets are grounded, unlike any upscale neighbourhood, and each store dates back 100 years. In fact, they are now considered a part of legacy. Number wearables are available at Chandni Chowk market. The key phrase will be bargaining. The majority of shop owners in this area are wholesalers and don't favour retailing. The best way to appreciate Old Delhi's splendour is to take a rickshaw ride around Chandni Chowk Road. You probably have never driven on a road with as many twists and turns as they do, and they are also very rough. Your tour of Old Delhi will take you on an expedition that will be worthwhile. Your first stop on your Delhi sightseeing trip will be the Old Fort, also known as the Purana Quila, an imposing building on the Mathura Road. The Mughal emperor Humayun began construction on the fort, and Sher Shah Suri finished it. Old Fort ultimately came under Humayun after a number of thrones changed. The Red Fort or Lal Quila, another essential piece of Mughal legacy, comes next. The name of the Mughal emperor-built Red Fort comes from the enormous red sandstone walls that line its eight sides. After lunch, we would travel to NEW DELHI, the portion of Delhi that is more contemporary and where you can find the Lotus Temple. The Lotus Temple, which is 12 kilometres southeast of Connaught Place, is most well-known for its shape. You can go on a shopping binge at places like South Ex, Lajpat Nagar, and Sarojini Nagar. Our agent will accompany you back to your hotel room in the evening when you'll undoubtedly be exhausted. Hotel stay for the night.
Jaipur will be our next stop. We will go to Jaipur after having breakfast early in the morning, stopping for lunch along the way in Samode (280 kilometres). This will stand alone as an experience. By seeing locations like Samode Palace, your trip to Samode will be more exciting. With regal hallways, frescoed walls, and ethereal audience halls, the cosy palace is now full of architectural marvels that elegantly reflect the talents of professional craftsmen. For five years running, Samode Haveli has been named the best heritage hotel in the nation. Samode Haveli is a complete getaway that offers its tourists the ideal ambiance. The Samode Bagh, a huge 10 acres of oasis, is another great place to spend the evening.Spending time in Samode Village or the "Dhanis" will be your favourite part of the city. You can gain a fascinating understanding of traditional Rajasthan by strolling around the hamlet streets. Interact with the villagers and farmers in the area. This will be a blast. It will take less than an hour to go from Samode to Jaipur, which is located about 45 kilometres away. We will depart in the evening for yet another amazing location in Rajasthan, Jaipur. We will take you to Fatehpur Sikri the next morning, which is the fifth day of our Golden Triangle tour. 40 kilometres separate the city of Agra from Fatehpur Sikri. The Mughal dynasty's imperial capital is there. Fatehpur Sikri, which is only a short distance from Agra City, heightens curiosity regarding the residence that is so close to Agra. Investigate the Bulund Darwaja, the world's largest doorway, to get a glimpse of the Mughal world. After lunch, we'll go to Agra, where the Taj Mahal is one of many wonderful sights. Check into your accommodation as soon as you arrive in Agra. Your visit to the Mughal Empire will be your first.
We will visit the Taj Mahal in the morning at dawn, a monument made of white marble by Shah Jahan in honour of his stunning wife Mumtaz Mahal. Persian architect Ustad Isa spent 22 years designing and planning the Taj Mahal. The Taj is known for its exquisite domes, deftly carved screens, and some of the best inlay work ever made, in addition to its magnificent design harmony and flawless symmetry. Another popular tourist destination with breathtaking beauty close to the Taj Mahal is the Agra Red Fort. After lunch, you will be taken to the train station to catch the Shatabdi Express train to Gwalior, which departs at 8:20 or 9:40 a.m., for a full day of touring. The visitors will immediately start their sightseeing after they arrive at Gwalior Railway Station. The huge Jai Vilas Palace & Crystal from the 19th century is included in your Gwalior trip. A small portion of the rooms has been transformed into a museum displaying artefacts from the Scindia dynasty. After that, you travel to the hotel Usha Kiran Palace to have lunch. The Maharaja's guest home was the original Usha Kiran Palace. After lunch, head on to the enormous Gwalior Fort, where it is thought that a sun temple was once built. Visit Man Mandir as well, as it makes up the fort's eastern wall. A monument at the fort is from the eighth century A.D. forward and is one of India's biggest forts. Additionally, go to the Tansen Tomb and the Gujri Mahal. Transfer in the evening to the train station for the Taj Express back to Agra (1655/1825 hours). The visitors will be taken to the hotel after arriving in Agra. Afternoon at the hotel.
After a leisurely breakfast, drive the 203 kilometres (5 hours) to Delhi. We won't do a lot of things in Agra. Your day of rest will be today, so you may fully savour Delhi's energy. You have the option to watch television, sleep, or simply wander the hotel. If you'd like to relax and rejuvenate, you can visit the spa at your hotel (excluded from tour, just a recommendation).
