Itinerary
You are greeted on arrival at the Kochi International Airport/Railway station by The Travel Planners representative and transferred to Hotel. In the afternoon, visit Athirapilly waterfalls and Vazhachal Waterfalls. The Athirappilly Falls are situated on the Chalakudy river, which originates in the upper reaches of the Western Ghats. Evening drive back to the hotel Port Muziris - Guest Room for the overnight stay.
After a relaxed breakfast at the hotel, we take a scenic drive to Munnar, a hill station located 1600 meters above sea level. Once the summer resort of the erstwhile British administration in South India, it retains its colonial charm and is famous for its tea plantations once owned by the British they are now mostly privately owned. With sprawling estates, rolling hills, sparkling waterfalls, picture postcard hamlets, and undulating valleys, Munnar is an ideal holiday destination. On the way, you can explore Activities like an Ecstasy ride, zipline, and Bali swing. Balance of the day is at leisure, to enjoy the ambiance of Munnar. Overnight at Spice Tree Resort & Spa - Classic Jacuzzi.
Full day engaged with special activities. Yoga Visit Valley Plantation Village Walks and guided Trekking, Ethnic Cooking Class Tea Tasting Session & Hi-Tea with Snacks Aware Different tea varieties Walk to Dolmens, Stone Age Remnant Found Near the Resort Nature Walk Through the Plantation Any Time in the Afternoon Duration: 1 hour (Towel Art) The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the tranquil & serene surroundings. The morning after breakfast drive to Thekkady, an area known for its undulating hills, spice plantations, and elephant sightings. One of the 27 wildlife reserves in India, the Periyar valley in Thekkady is the oldest. Check into your hotel. Afternoon you can go on a boat cruise in the Lake to watch wild animals is an option (Inside the sanctuary), Elephant Ride (optional), Evening witness martial arts performance seeing, and Stay overnight at Elephant Court - Patio Room.
Another morning drive, this time, to Alleppey, popularly called the Venice of the East, to see the winding canals and an amazing network of backwaters. On arrival, you will be checking in to a traditional Kerala houseboat which will take you on a fabulous tour of the backwaters. Small canoe ride through backwaters. Overnight stay will be in the Houseboat (Premium - Full-Time A/c)
The morning after breakfast transfer with our representative to Cochin airport for your flight back home.
